We're using a well-established company for this service and they have

a slightly different pricing system--a tad more expensive for the first
book (because of the 24-hour availability) but leveling down to our
normal pricing if you order three or more books.

Here's how the new 800-number pricing works:

One book...   10.95      Shipping and handling...      3.00      Total... 13.95
Two books... 20.90      (add .50 for second book)   3.50      Total... 24.40

And it gets less and less expensive as you go down the list. For
example, if you ordered five books, your final total would be $59.75,
and that's even less than our usual flat rate of $60 for five books!

(All books are sent by Media Mail unless you specify otherwise. Books
sent by Priority Mail are a few dollars more. Next-Day Mail is $15. All
prices are based on orders going to a single address.)
